Child Care for Your Toddler
It's not just child care for your toddler; it's the path to real learning. At ages 12 months to 24 months, toddlers at Crowned Hart Preschools begin their road to success as they are engaged in active learning. Your child will enjoy learning through stories, music, classic nursery rhymes, sensory and art activities, sign language and games with experienced and loving teachers guiding the way. Teachers will send home daily notes to let you know what's going on in class and keep you actively involved in your toddler's day.
One Year Olds
The one-year-old classroom is a place of wonder, filled with fun and new friends with whom to toddle. Perfecting the art of walking is just one skill they learn and master. But there's so much more for them at Crowned Hart Preschools. They will begin to discover the joy of learning through circle time, and the continued journey of books, and stories. Toddlers will also learn to make friends, get along with others. There is so much to discover as they explore the playtime centers that are geared towards fun as well as learning.
Two Year Olds
By the time our little ones are two, they have mastered the art of walking, and are ready to find their voice. Our preschool program gives them the confidence to learn. Circle time takes on a whole new dimension: student participation. Hands on learning, and child input makes the learning experience even more exciting. They are immersed in colors and shapes. Not only do they get better at sharing, but they begin to learn about caring. Your child will learn early preschool concepts and skills such as colors, shapes and numbers and also discover possibilities in art, sensory, music, literature, rhymes, finger plays, language and listening, dramatic play and large motor skill games. We encourage developing social skills through interactive play. Two is terrific!
